Interfacing Voice Messaging System & Mobile SMS Network

Shinsegi wanted to deploy a service to its mobile subscribers in South Korea to send Voice Mail alerts as SMS to the mobile handsets, and to allow the subscriber a one touch dialing of the party leaving the message.

The Messaging server sends mail alerts and call back numbers to SMSC, which then delivers them using SMPP protocol to the Home Location Register (HLR) over the SS7 network.

With these features, Shinsegi increased its market penetration.
